Eileen
Fisher Inc. supports Powerful Voices and the Development of Girls' Self-Esteem
In a year marked with celebration and introspection, Eileen Fisher Inc.
has expanded on its tradition of philanthropy by awarding five $20,000
grants to four non-profit organizations across the country. The
awards were designated to expand the work they do for women in the areas
of wellness, financial independence, self-esteem and prevention of violence
and a fifth grant of growth money for a budding female entrepreneur.
We are pleased to announce that Powerful Voices was specifically selected
for its work in the area of self-esteem. Funds will be used to expand
on our Girls RAP after-school program in the new year with alumni programs,
parent education and adult and peer mentoring. In October, Powerful
Voices' staff members Julie Edsforth, Ann Muno and Angela Powell traveled
to Eileen Fisher Inc.'s national headquarters in New York to accept the
award from Eileen Fisher herself. We are thrilled with this incredible
opportunity for partnership with Eileen Fisher, Inc. "We deeply

inspiring women to celebrate who they are from their business practices
to their philanthropy and social consciousness," remarks Julie
