What was your dream when you were ten years old?
What do you wish you had known then?

Powerful Voices turned ten years old in 2005.  In celebration of a decade of innovative, all-girl programs, we invited people across the country to share their dreams and wisdom with girls.

We know that girls possess big dreams and deep wisdom. As a girl in our middle school program shared,
“I want to become a professional dancer. I want to get A’s and B’s. I want to help my mom out lots. I want to stay healthy. I want to be happy and live a long good life.”

Our programs work because we listen intently to the girls we serve. We also know that support from adults-- family, guardians, mentors and friends-- can help girls to grow into strong women.

As we look forward to the next ten years, we have big dreams for girls.
