Has the system got you down? Do you have goals and want support achieving them? Do you need resource connections or a friendly face to meet you where you’re at? Do you want to develop your independence and a clear sense of self?
Student Advocates provides one-on-one support to young people ages 12-18, who are at-risk of experiencing and/or perpetuating violence. We’ll support you in achieving goals that you set for yourself and connect you to programs and resources that are beneficial for you. Whether you want to improve your grades, get a job, find independent housing, participate in fun programs, or just want someone to talk to you - we’re here for you.
Girls* who live in and/or go to school in Seattle - specifically Central, Southeast, and Southwest Regions of Seattle. Specific eligibility determined upon risk assessment intake.
1:1 support provides individualized care and support which we tailor and adapt to meet everyone’s unique needs.
We provide this service all year-round, Monday-Friday, between 9am and 5pm. We work with young people to set reasonable boundaries of when to meet and how often.
A Student Advocate comes to wherever you are - whether that be at school, at a community center, or a local community-based organization.
If you would like to speak to us about getting extra level of support, please contact a Student Advocate at Powerful Voices. We have two case managers - their information is below!
