DYVAS: Developing Your Voices and Speak is a paid internship opportunity where BIPOC girls & gender expansive youth write, create art for, edit and publish a zine, a kind of indie publication that celebrates individual expression, community, activism & art!
We have a network of BIPOC therapists, counselors, and wellness practitioners in the Puget Sound area, and we are providing vouchers for young people & community. Click on the link to sign up on our waitlist for a voucher!
Healing Justice INITIATIVE
Powerful Voices’ Taking Root Healing Justice initiative was created in response to the mental health crisis that BIPOC girls and gender expansive youth are experiencing in our communities. This initiative is designed to support BIPOC youth, their families, and the phenomenal youth advocates experiencing burnout and vicarious trauma.
We are all in need of care, rest and a radical reimagining of healing.

A program where middle school age BIPOC girls & gender expansive youth build connections and explore their identities and values in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Powerful Voices Radio
A podcast led by girls & gender expansive youth of color where young people create, produce, and edit podcast content relevant to them and their communities
Artivism
Artivism is our new PAID teen arts internships where a group of BIPOC girls & gender expansive youth will explore 3 art forms & create a piece for an arts expo!
Activistas
A program where high school age BIPOC girls & gender expansive engage in activism through curating social-justice based projects for our youth-led community conference, Girlvolution.
